I’m passionate about helping others.
As a product design leader with 15 years of experience building interactive experiences for responsive web, native mobile, Generative AI, and IoT, I’ve seen it all.
Now, I help organizations understand both the big picture as well as the specific steps to get across the finish line, thinking strategically to consider the needs of the business, the user, and the team.
As a mentor and leader in my organization, I work one-on-one to help fellow designers hone their craft and reach their career goals. I also develop and lead group-based trainings within my organization and across the Chicago design community.

Cognizant
Associate Director of Product Design
2021–now
At Cognizant, I use a broad range of product tools to help current and potential clients reach their goals within their business constraints. This can include facilitating ideation workshops, designing interactive prototypes, and mentoring and guiding other designers to produce work they can be proud of.
Adler Planetarium Zooniverse Lead Designer
2017–21
Zooniverse is the world’s largest platform for citizen science, helping researchers crowdsource data processing through interactive projects. As the lead designer, I worked with researchers from around the world to develop new and interesting ways to engage the public with scientific research, including an interactive touch table display in the Adler Planetarium and a new way to use machine learning to transcribe ancient manuscripts.
Over the course of my career, I’ve worked in small 5-person startups and large Fortune-500 companies, in-house and with clients, freelance and full-time. I’ve done it all, and now I use my experience to see around corners and create the best possible outcome for everyone involved.
